Suzie Burger in Sacramento
Suzie Burger is back in Sacramento after 20+ years!
The popular Suzie Burger that many Sacramento natives remember from the past, has reimerged, taking over the jetson-style Orbitz gas station at 29th & P.
Benny Ogata, who's parents Suzie and Ben opened their first hamburger stand off of Freeport Blvd in 1962, teamed up with the Haines Brothers (Matt & Fred) of SRO Inc. to bring Suzie Burger back to life. Matt & Fred are already successful restauranteurs in the Sacto area; presiding over 33rd Bistro in East Sacramento, Riverside Clubhouse in Land Park and three Bistro 33 eateries in Downtown Sac, El Dorado Hills and Davis.
Suzie Burger opened January 1st to great reviews with a cheap and easy "In-N-Out" style menu. $1.95 will get you a regular hamburger, $2.95 will get you one with cheese! There are also a ton of toppings that you can choose from to add to your burger, from pastrami to fried eggs to cheese wiz...
So...In Summary: no salads, no 'weight watchers' point menu and no low-fat, low-calorie tofu burgers served here...Just good old FATshion burgers!
Check out their menu.
