Sacramento Fashion Must-Have: Gladiator Sandals for Spring!

We were opposed at first to looking like Russell Crowe, but must admit...these 'Arena Chic' sandals have grown on us...

They've been popular for the past few years and by the looks of the runway and Hollywood, Gladiator sandals will undoubtly be hot as ever for Spring!

From designer to designer, the take on these sandals differs a bit, but their distinctive T strap up the middle and strappy construction make them easy to spot. Flat versions are a really popular, casual and comfortable choice, but we've seen some really cute chunky/stacked heel versions as well...

We did some ROME-ing around (ugh...so corny) and found our favorites...

Find in Sacramento: Although many boutiques in town have yet to get their full Spring shipments in, if you wait a week or so their selection should be up. We suggest stopping by The Pink House in East Sacramento (I bought a cute Gladiator-style stacked heel sandal by Ann Marino there the other day for $50 bucks! They also carry Sam Edelman, Two Lips, Jeffrey Campbell and Franco Sarto) and Shoefly in midtown Sacramento (they have a great sandal selection from designers Via Spiga, Bernardo, Miss Sixty, Franco Sarto and Donald J Pliner)
