Bombay Bar & Grill: Best New Indian, Bar Naan
Marble countertop wrapped around an oversized turquoise bar, leather backed chairs, funky red and blue bowl-shaped lights.
Put down the glow sticks, Bombay Bar & Grill only looks
like Sacramento’s newest after hours party spot.
Located in the former site of Sarus Restaurant, Bombay Bar & Grill is a hip, colorful, and delicious addition to Sacramento’s Indian food selection.
Lounge near the full bar, where the chairs are comfy and the wine selection is stellar. But don’t stop there. The menu is stuffed with classic Indian favorites, and inspired fare with a twist. Kitschy school lunch trays-come-plates provide a dash of nostalgia.
Loving the Himalayan Appetizer, with a variety of vegetable pakoras, somosas and momos, one of many veggie-friendly options on the menu. Another standout is the chicken tikki masala. And everything tastes better paired with tasty garlic basil naan.
Open daily for lunch and dinner. Take out and delivery available for bad hair days.
