District 30 Opens: Thirty's the New Twenty

Your last night out involved blisters, a dead cell phone and a bartender named Jason, or was it Brian?

So naturally you’re fired up to do it just one more time (for good measure.)

Welcome District 30, downtown’s newest addition to Sacramento’s burgeoning nightlife. Brain-child of Ruby Skye’s George Karpaty and brought to life after $5 million in renovations, District 30 is the new way to properly celebrate K Street’s rebounding drinking market.

To begin, you’ll step past the life-sized LED puzzle outside beckoning you to enter the boutique dance lounge—a good place to meet up before you get lost dancing to resident DJ David Carvalho, and the occasional special guest DJ (Steve Aoki anyone?) and abandon all notion of the outside world.

If your film premiere (or latest b-day) needs an after-party venue—or you’re just really in the mood for a memorable Wednesday (it is the new Thursday)—now’s your chance to snag one of the first private bookings (not to mention a thoughtfully placed booth) and go out in style like the VIP you are while keeping your Zanattis on the entire night.

We think you’ll be impressed.

If not raving.

District 30; 1016 K Street, Sacramento; (916) 737.5770
