Holiday Volunteering: Sweet Charity
You find eggnog lattes repulsive and will totally slap mall Santa if he dares eyeball your cleavage one more time.
Christmas is definitely right around the corner.
But before you go bah humbug, ’tis the season to remember it’s about giving with Holiday Volunteering at Loaves & Fishes.
Founded in 1983, Sacramento Loaves & Fishes provides food, shelter and assistance to those in need – free of judgement, and in a spirit of love and hospitality.
Holiday donations welcome in all denominations: time, money, food and toys.
Help serve Christmas Day lunch, drop off food for the meal, or donate toys and items to stuff Christmas Day stockings.
Top items needed: Cooked hams & turkeys, baked pies, toys (infant to 16 years old), as well as socks, hats, gloves, shaving razors and shoelaces for stockings.
