I Dream of Johnny Clothing: Baby GaGa
Paint, mud, peanut butter—kids love anything they can turn into art. And who are we to stifle their creativity?
Just ask Johnny of I Dream Of Johnny– the grown-up version of your two-year old artists, dedicated to letting kids express themselves through art (especially when it comes to the wearable type.)
Hmm. Like mother, like child perhaps?
Johnny recently made his Sacramento debut at an Art Therapy fundraiser, partnering with Retail Therapy and ArtBeast to support a local nonprofit while kids channeled their inner Picasso on a large canvas wall.
The photographer-turned-clothing-designer’s line “I Dream of Johnny” features photography as wearable art. From newborns to toddlers, outfits showcase a variety of carefully edited photos—footballs, tractors, and even ice cream sundaes.
Warning: you won’t find any princess paraphernalia, so don’t bother looking. Johnny told us the girl’s line is more likely to feature electric guitars than tiaras. Good thing mini punk rock never goes out of style.
We’re also loving the tie shirts for boys—perfect for the “little man” in your life.
