Sake House Opens: New Sushi on the Scene
Your date on Monday nights 8/7 c, and your go-to Chardonnay when fronting the bill.
Welcome a new house to your life — Sake House opens
at the Fountains.
Choose from 14 unique sakes: the Zipang Sparkling Sake (add a shot of Chambord for a raspberry twist) and the Gekkeikan Sake served hot or chilled (this one goes both ways) are among the most popular.
On the menu: Spicy tuna tartare, hamachi carpaccio and sake steamed mussels to name a few. Try the Randy Randy Roll (hamachi, sake, scallions) or the Spicy Stacy Roll (spicy tuna, cucumbers, salmon) if you’re into name dropping.
Sushi square? Don’t worry–the menu’s filled with lots of sashimi, rolls and Japanese cuisine classics.
The decor is reminiscient of a bachelor pad done right: Boldly painted wall designs, steel and marble bar, zebra wood, illuminated dance floor, along with a who’s who list of local DJ talent spinning Wed-Sat nights for the 21 & up.
Here’s to the new sushi on the scene.
