Scout Living Opens: Thing of the Past
You knew better but just couldn’t help yourself. Even HIS friends warned you.
Still, for a while, you held on to him like a shiny new toy – albeit a broken one.
At first you thought you could refinish him all by yourself. But soon realized this piece of work required more than just a touch-up. A few weeks (and a few arguments) later, you decided he wasn’t worth the investment and moved on. You have your favorite antique and design collective – Scout Living - to thank for that strength.
Everything at Scout Living is ready to go straight from the showroom floor to your home. The store’s owners, Erin Boyle and Stefan Bloom, have already done the hard work for you.
Erin and Stefan have brought together an exclusive group of the best antique, vintage and mid-century modern dealers in the Sacramento area and presented their merchandise in one incredible, accessible Midtown location. No need to dig around for a project to add to your pile – everything from 19th century trunks to vintage Chanel has been polished and presented for their clientele.
And, the store isn’t the only thing that’s impressive. This husband and wife team has an eclectic background that includes working for Neiman Marcus, book publishing and design, teaching English in Prague, a move to Madrid and a rented space at an invitation-only collective in San Francisco (where they still display and sell their antiques). It’s no wonder they’ve managed to fill a niche in the market with such an unparalleled sense of style.
Scout Living is open Tuesday through Sunday (hours vary). All items displayed are for sale.
And for those that would rather lease than own, store merchandise is also available for seven-day rental at 25% of the purchase price.
