Source Tapas Opens: Latin Lover
Barcelona’s great, but you do have to work on Thursday.
And let’s face it sometimes you want to drop the chalupa and slip into something a little more… fabulous.
Luckily, Source Global Tapas is here to save the day—a newly opened tapas bar in Granite bay—will give you just enough taste of the exotic, while over looking the gorgeous Quarry Ponds. Which should save you the jaunt to Barcelona. (Latin Lover optional.)
Source scours the valley for the freshest ingredients possible and serves them in a “tapas style” (adios Taco Tuesday!) small shared plates made easy for dining with large groups of girlfriends or for that one hombre caliente. Once you’ve commandeered your table for two, you’ll point out chilled items like Grilled Shrimp with Piquillo Pepper, Tomato Conserve, Dungeness Crab Tater Tots or Butterscotch Crème Brule.
Source also offers about 65 wines by the glass, or the whole. No matter what you order, you two can expect to be surrounded by a cadre of your favorite Spanish and Napa Valley ex-pats.
