Stone Lock Project in Sacramento

I know, first we were all teased with the SacTowers, then the Aura Towers, then talks of a new Arena…so, don’t get your
hopes up too much, but the word on the street is that a group of developers are eyeing 200 acres of vacant and undeveloped waterfront land along the Sacramento River, referred to as the Stone Lock District.

According to the City Of West Sacramento website, the Cordish Company was approved to lead the development which is reported as the largest and most successful developer of entertainment districts and concepts in the United States.

The community would feature, “entertainment, restaurants, and park events”. (Déjà vu, Déjà vu)

Again, let’s not get our hopes up just yet, but these kinds of ‘talks’ are great for our town and let’s hope that eventually one of these projects actually gets built! (Hopefully we won’t be too old to enjoy it…)
