The Illustrated Bride: Let's Call it a Draw

Don’t look directly at her. Smile through the dread. And for god’s sake keep all your true feelings to yourself.

Tame that bride-to-be beast in your life with a gift she can’t attack – a custom, hand-drawn

Sacramento native and Illustrated Bride artist Jennifer Hancock came up with the concept while illustrating bridal gown designs at Miosa Couture. As regular requests from brides to keep their sketches grew, so did the idea for The Illustrated Bride.

Beginning first by illustrating brides, Jennifer has recently expanded her commissions to include maid of honor and bridesmaid sketches.

Illustrations are whimsical, intimate and capture the most personal details just right. A perfect gift for the soon to be wed to newlywed, make it a framer and it’s a treasured keepsake to pass down to future generations.

Bride and maid of honor sketches start at $125; bridesmaid illustrations at $75.

Gift certificates available for bridal shower gifting made brilliant.
