GO: Stuff & Things Art Opening

What: Opening art reception of Stuff and Things, new works by sisters Katie Kaapcke and Elizabeth Kaapcke. Mixed media artists with very unique styles, yet an apparent thread connecting their work, Katie and Elizabeth are resident artists at Old City Gallery where they create art side-by-side in their neighboring studio spaces. Their latest work examines love, loss and survival.

GIVE: IKEA Blanket Drive

What: Since 1972, the Sacramento Area Emergency Housing Center (SAEHC) has been dedicated to moving homeless families and individuals to higher levels of self-sufficiency and self-reliance in the Sacramento area. This winter season, with more people finding themselves jobless or homeless, SAEHC is in great need of blankets! To donate, bring your new or gently used blanket to IKEA West Sacramento through the weekend.
When: Thru Sunday, January 9th.
