What: River City Food Bank serves up soup, socializing and shopping during Empty Bowls 2011, an annual event that raises awareness about hunger in Sacramento. Select a handmade ceramic bowl made by students and professional potters, then enjoy gourmet soups from local restaurants including Vizcaya, Michelangelo’s and R15, plus shopping bazaar featuring artisans’ pottery, jewelry and other handmade items.
