TwinSoup Giveaway: Empty Bowls 2011 Tickets
Steaming hot, oh-so-satisfying and comes with a side of zero guilt. Yes it’s possible when River City Food Bank serves up soup, socializing and shopping during Empty Bowls on March 7th & 8th!
An annual event that raises awareness about hunger in Sacramento, this year’s event is even more essential due to a devastating fire that destroyed the Food Bank’s building in October.
Event attendees select a handmade ceramic bowl made by students and professional potters, followed by a selection of delicious gourmet soups from local restaurants such as: Vizcaya; Michelangelo’s; R15; Scott’s Seafood Grill & Bar. A shopping bazaar will also be set-up featuring artisans’ pottery, jewelry and other handmade items.
Grab some co-workers and make it a group lunch break affair. Or round up some girlfriends for a feel good supper seating.
Tickets $60 for Supper seating (3/7; 5:30pm); $30 for Luncheons (3/8; 11am & 12:30pm).
