Upsy Daisy Creations: Green and Bare it

Halloween’s almost here. No need to have your little one’s dressing like goblins and ghouls all month (or year).

Try something less scary on for size.

Like a piece from Upsy Daisy Creations, a line that neatly melds old (vintage tees, men’s dress shirts) and new (think hoodies and to die for bell-sleeve dresses) for a streamlined, up-cycled look both kids, moms, and mother earth agree on.

Co-owners Sheri and Deidre source a vintage supply from family members (and local thrift shops) to score smart patterns, shapes, and textures (and awesome band t-shirts).  Then they sew away focusing on classic silhouettes and making each piece completely unique.

And if keeping your kiddy from looking like Freddy Kruger isn’t reason enough, Upsy Daisy Creations is dedicated to making new fashions out of recycled clothing, thus keeping you and your kids as green as can be. The resulting effect is earthy but not dirty, resourceful but not junky.

Up for fall: recycled sports t-shirts, boys’ ties, and concert t-shirt dresses.

Bewitchin’.
